The Monktoberfest

We are tentatively planning to hold the tenth annual Monktoberfest in person on October 6-7, 2022. As with the past two years, our ultimate decision to hold the event (and at what capacity) will be dependent on the overall trajectory of COVID-19 case rates, vaccination availability and other pandemic-related factors. We remain hopeful but cautious that we’ll be back this year after a two year hiatus.

Tickets are currently sold out, but please join the waitlist. We will communicate information about additional tickets sales if our venue capacity increases.

If you’re interested in speaking in 2022, please see the call for proposals.

If you’re interested in sponsoring the 2022 Monktoberfest, please reach out to Morgan Harris.

For our third try at the the tenth year, the conference that was born from a tweet will hopefully be back for 2022, bringing you the best speakers, talks you will hear nowhere else and – of course – the best craft beer the world has to offer.

Attendees arriving the night before the conference will be treated to a special welcome event. Thursday will feature a full day’s worth of single track sessions, and at the conclusion of the day we’ll be gathering for our usual off-the-hook beer tasting and dinner. Join us on Friday for a half day of sessions before heading out to enjoy an autumn in the lovely Portland, ME.
