By popular demand, The Monktoberfest returns this fall. The conference that was born from a tweet is back, bringing you the best speakers, talks you will hear nowhere else and – of course – the best craft beer the world has to offer.

This one of a kind event will be held in downtown Portland, ME on October 4th in the Portland Public Library, as last year. Attendees arriving the night before will be treated to fine craft beers and snacks at Portland’s newest beer bar, LFK. Thursday will feature a full day’s worth of sessions, and at the conclusion of the day we’ll be gathering at a former locomotive foundry that overlooks Portland’s waterfront and Casco Bay for a beer tasting and dinner.

We’re delighted to say that our tasting will be led by Leigh and Ryan Travers, who last year’s attendees may remember from dinner. Though the husband and wife team has left Maine to open a new bar in partnership with Stillwater Ales in Baltimore, they’re flying back in just to lead us through a tasting of the best beers the world has to offer.

Finally, at the request of last year’s attendees, we’ll be adding a second half day’s worth of sessions. If your travel plans allow, then, join us on Friday the 5th for a morning of networking, breakout talks and breakfast.
